Happy Birthday Chunky Baby!

Before my Mom and Dad left my Mom had a tea party with the girls.

Preface:

Morgan has a favorite doll she named "Chunky Baby" she is rather large and has sand in her toosh making her "chunky." She is not my favorite as she is rather ugly and has makeup on but Morgan loves her (she was given to us by one of the neighbors).

"Chunky Baby"

We were at my parents for a couple of weeks before they left and Morgan said every day that is was Chunky Babies birthday. So when my Mom planned the tea party she thought it would be fun for Mo if it was a "Birthday Party for Chunky Baby Tea Party." Morgan was on cloud 9!

The Birthday Tea Party was a hit complete with choclate cake, trail mix, gummy bears, and even some soy nuts (hey they needed something healthy LOL!)

Even Papa stopped in for a little chocolate cake!

"Smile Bailes!"

For Both Grandmas!

Both Grandmas have asked for another "swimming" video, so here it is...

(Actually here they are and I am sorry but you will have to turn your head to watch them, other than not recording with the camera turned, I don't know how to rotate the videos.)

We just got back from Stephenville on Friday. We went to celebrate a late birthday with Christie as she was away for work. If you could imagine the highlight of the week was the pool...and family of course:)

Morgan has the little scrubber that is used on the pool but has decided that her Uguck (Eric) is a very dirty boy. Ouch!

"I can swim all by myself!"

(Papa and his Little Girls)

About a week ago when were at my parents I was in the pool with Bailey and I told her to hold onto the edge and swim to me.
(She had never done this before but I thought she being 5 should know how to swim!)

I had to promise that I would catch her!

(this is Eric, not me...just to make things clear)

It only took a couple of times and she was swimming under the water like a mermaid!
She was sooo very proud of herself!

In the midst of all the excitement Morgan said "well I can swim with my floaties."

Like what's the big deal?

We are home now but Bailey still tells everyone that she can swim all by herself!
